And if someone doesn't believe in the rights of gays to marry because of the ';sanctity of marriage'; they should look at the sky-high divorce rate before they think it is so sacrosanct. What are some non obvious reasons why gay marriage should be legal?
Have you ever heard the phrase ';All men are created equal';? If not then you need to research the Declaration of Independence... It means that all people are the same and SHOULD have the same rights... It means that if you take away a person's right to marry just because of their sexuality you are taking away their right to be a true citizen of America, and that's not very constitutional. And I know people say it's unholy, and that all homosexual are going to h*ll, but who are they to judge... Their not the ones getting jumped and verbally/mentally/physically abused because of their sexuality... Sorry about this, It just upsets me that or government can tell us who to love...What are some non obvious reasons why gay marriage should be legal?
to make a firm commitment ,for legal reasons ,to join in couple activities ,legal wills-and on and on
maybe because two people love each other....i am str8 but it does not matter to me what people do with each other if they love each other then so be it~1~
to get legal rights. legal wills.
Isn't love the only reason required?
