What do you think will be the reaction of Christians nationwide when more states legalize gay marriage?

Initially a lot of b*tchiness. After the dust settles, it'll be like with blacks. The Christians will come to be embarrassed of their past bigotry, and embrace diversity.





And this isn't all Christians. Some are good about gays right now.What do you think will be the reaction of Christians nationwide when more states legalize gay marriage?
I personally will continue praying and watching the skies..... all this world is doing is proving the bible and its prophecies more and more. The continual legalization of gay marriages is simply a sign of the current situation this world is truly in and signifies that the Lord will be returning sooner than any one is aware of. So the reaction so called ';Christians'; should have is prayer and fasting. We should not condone anything to do with gay marriage however, these people are all creations of God and they deserve love for he hath loved us. Preachers need to preach the TRUTH about this matter and let it be known that the church does not condone gay marriages and NO minister should agree to marry any same sex couple. If they want to get married make them go through legal venues instead of Holy ones because there is NO and will NEVER be a holy same sex union. Bottom LineWhat do you think will be the reaction of Christians nationwide when more states legalize gay marriage?
If its done thru judicial activism then I would hope that people in general, not just Christians, will cry foul.





If its done thru the legislature or popular vote, well then, that is how the system is set up and people will complain and some people wont care and some people on both sides will be obnoxious jerks and then people will move on.
I won't care, but Christians nationwide will probably protest for a few days and then fail.





Obviously gay marriage isn't a good thing in my eyes, but we live in a free country. I'd rather live in America where I have to see gay people kissing than in the Middle East and be forced into a religion I don't want to be a part of.
I for one would move out of those states.


Gays are not like women and colored people! Racism and mistreatment of women are just social injustices. Homosexuality is directly stated as a sin.


This is a free country, but it doesn't seem like it's a popular choice to the public.
Sadness for our country who is losing it's foundations of family values and going secular. When we treat homosexuals like they are a race of people instead of just plain perverts like the Bible says, it is a sad time for our country. God did not make homosexuals. He made a man and a women. Homosexuality is an act not a person. They are acts of a very sinful nature.
Of course there would be outrage. However, they shouldn't retaliate by being psychotic. Instead, keep an open mind (the way Jesus does) and be willing to accept those who are different. And hopefully with some patient counseling, people will see the wrong they are doing.
If they have a problem with secular laws being allowed for secular people, they are welcome to move to places where the laws are based on the Bible. I hear real estate is quite cheap in Afghanistan.
I think the whole enchilada is going down the tubes shortly.

There is really a very good chance that there is a violent revolution (where the fundamentalists kill us all) in the near future.
Same reaction they had when slavery was abolished, or when women started gaining equal rights, or when church and state were separated...
Fundies will probably heckle and riot and protest. Normal Christians either won't care because it has nothing to do with them, or rejoice because they are gay themselves.
The inevitable result is that the people will start cutting out any benefits and special privileges that any married people get. Why ought we to subsidize any marriage with our tax dollars?
