Is it too late to make a marriage license?

Me and my husband was married in 2004 in our cultural tradition but never thought of getting a marriage license until now just because our religion doesn often get marriage license. Is it too late?Is it too late to make a marriage license?
Applying for a marriage license doesn't automatically make it legal. It's just an application. You then need to be married by an Officiant who signs the license after the ceremony (along with you, your spouse, and a witness) and sends it off to be recorded by the Court. Is it too late to make a marriage license?
Well if your in America then you need a marriage license to be married whether you were married by a pastor, priest, or judge. It's the law. You can just pay for the license and have it signed by a judge stating he wedded you, it's kinda like eloping. Anyway, you need to have one regardless.
You will have to be remarried by someone qualified to do marriages. States don't recognize ';cultural tradition';. Check with the court clerk's office at your local courthouse. You can't go get a marriage license after you're married.
No you just need to got and get married again by the civil court it cost you like $120.00 this price is in california.

you will get copy the same day and a certificate in a few weeks by mail.
In the USA a marriage is not legal without a license.
I don't think so
