What does religion say about sex before marriage?

All religions condemn this practice, however Christians (with bible) don't abide by it... (most not all I am sure there are a lot who do that) Specially in western countries and here in USA there are youth groups and all by you go in there and there are pregnant women there even though its not part of the religion...

Again look at Islamic people (real Islamic people) they don't do this practice..... the single mother rate in islamic countries is 1 to nothing... Pregnancy rate before marriage is 1 to nothing

too...What does religion say about sex before marriage?
The Bible (KJV) states, ';It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.'; (1 Corinthians 7:1-2) To sum all of this up- it simply means that sex is only for married people. What does religion say about sex before marriage?
The reason we find pregnant young women in youth groups is because they find forgiveness. It's not part of the religion, but forgiveness is.

Personally, I think it is a choice left up to the individual. It is between them, their partner, and God what they do with their virginity. Remember, the Bible also says that women should not cut their hair or have a say in religious/government affairs. And that we should stone people for certain offenses that are commonplace today...
It is a no go for Christianity. However, during pre-marriage counseling, we were told the reason is so that there is no emotional baggage for the spouses to deal with during the marriage. Makes sense.

The Islamic culture would not accept that; the woman would be shunned. It is not only the religion itself, but the communities.

The American culture has become more accepting, and so it happens more. Think, some middle easter countries cut off fingers of thieves, set women who have become useless on fire and stone people, as well.

Freedom does have its price.
What do you really want to know? Are you a religious person? If you are religious person, do you follow what your religion's say? or do you just want to do according to what you think is right? Or do you complain what is happening in the world?. I cannot see what your purpose of your question. Do you want to know if you want to have a sex before marriage, what is the consequences? Is it really your problem what is going on with people pregnancies?

Let me tell you what I am thinking. Some people have a religion,(for ex. christian or islam) but ignore it, because they think it is not practical or because they think why should bother by all the rules in their religion (for examples: christian or islam). And I think that people who call themselves religious, but do against what their religion tells them, then there is a doubt about their believe. Little bit of hypocrite, isn't it? You can see that religion creates problem. Actually as a person, we were born with heart which say what is right and what is wrong (without religion guides). Listen to the heart and think wisely. Sex is a part of life. Sex is a beautiful thing, specially if it is done between two grown up persons who loves each other and it is healthy to do it although they are not marriage. If someone wish to keep their pregnany (although this person is not married), that is fine. Marriage is just a certificate. But what happens with the youth who just happen to get pregnant and do not realized what they have done, as a result of not having any sex education. Sex education is better than what the religion says. So what it happens among the youth is they are ignorant (about sex education). Who cares what religion say.

About the islamic people, as you mentioned:'; real islamic people they don't do this practice'; how could you prove it?. It is just everything in islamic society ';hush'; ';hush';, but it happens all the time in any society(christian, islam or any). So do not be hypocrite! The problem is all religion is so ancient, and then if they have not done any reformation like in islam, the islam religion can never suitable with the time we live in now. Do as you believe! as I do what I believe. It doesnt' matter what the others do. So we are different.
Christians arn't perfect, just forgiven.
LMAO!!!!

Thats because women who do that, in muslim countries, are publicly executed... via death by stoning (done by men of course)

I bet you didn't know that...... heck! bet you don't even have a clue as to what ';Sharia'; is. If you did.... then you would STFU.
