Are Christians allowed to date various people prior to marriage provided they don't do anything?

too close contact (shall we say)?

I'm atheist and have had two long term girlfriends. Would I be allowed to do that if I were Christian or have to marry the first one I met?Are Christians allowed to date various people prior to marriage provided they don't do anything?
of course,

it is totally acceptbale to date people before marraige as long as you don't have sex.

the only ones who think that are the ultra conservative churches.

you really ought to look into the love that god offers.,

God Bless you./Are Christians allowed to date various people prior to marriage provided they don't do anything?
I'm not aware that the Bible says anything about not dating more than one person before marriage. As you mentioned God wants us to keep sexually pure before marriage.

I'm a Christian and I had two long term boyfriends before i met my husband. Having dated other guys helped me make a better judgment about the one who would make a better husband for me.

If that's what 's keeping you from turning to Christianity, don't let that keep you from considering it.
Yes, Christians can date different people, but only one at a time. And Christians should only date fellow Christians.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?
NO, it's forbidden to date!

haha. just kidding.

no. dude, i think you're mistaking us for some wierdo-religious people.

it's not about all the things you CAN'T do.

it's about KNOWING Jesus...

having a relationship with him!

that's the most important
Of course Christians can date. We just can't have pre-marital sex, and once we marry, it's supposed to be for life
yes of course.
