I do 80% of the shopping and she eats 85% of the food.

Who knows? Every couple do things differently. You wondering if it's fair are obviously getting resentful so maybe talk to her. A question like ';could you do the grocery shopping today honey?'; Compromise. Hey you do the grocery shop and I'll cook/ make beds- whatever works for you both.


I am the wife and I do 100% of the grocery shop which we both eat though I haven't thought about the % of this!
I do 95% of it because I don't mind it and he hates grocery shopping. Also if I left it to him we'd never have fresh fruits or veggies ;) He probably eats more food, but I get to choose what to buy when I'm there, so really I think I have the better deal.
I do about 75% of the shopping (and by that i mean i go to the grocery each time, but he comes with me occasionally to help pick stuff out), and I'd say, he eats 60-70% of the food...
well between my mom and dad, they go together most of the time and i go also. most likely when i get married and out on my own i'll most likely do the shopping because i know what i like and want.
I would love going shopping with my husband, but he hates to shop with me. I spend way too much time looking at the labels %26amp; comparing prices. I do almost all of the shopping.
We both go shopping together. Mostly bc he cooks and gets what is needed for meals. I get to pick out the fun stuff like snacky foods. He definetly eats more than I do though.
If she is eating 85% of the food, you're obviously not buying enough food. Duh. You need to get enough for two people (or however many are in your family).

I do the grocery shopping and most of the cooking. My wife does not care to cook,and I like to.

In my parents case, my mum tells my dad what she wants and he goes and gets it! My dad always does the shopping each week

U NEED TO SO GET OVER YOURSELF... I DO ALL THE GROCERY SHOPPING UNLESS I JUST CANT MAKE IT TO THE STORE THEN MY HUBBY GOES... BUT WHEN ONE GOES SHOPPING THE OTHER ONE PUTS THE GROCERIES AWAY ALL BUT THE CAN GOODS AND I DO THAT REGARDLESS OF WHO DOES THE SHOPPING..
Who care? Your married! Are you going to be mad at your kids if you buy food and they eat it? GROW UP! Why are you even married if you are crying about something so dumb?
