How specifically does an out-of-state marriage work?





If I'm 18 at the time of marriage, and my partner sixteen, would an out-of-state marriage be possible?





Would my state [Oregon] accept such a marriage?How would I do an out-of-state marriage?
Some states allow a 16yo to marry with parental consent. Most of these states do have residency requirements.





Those marriage are not recognized in the other states that do not allow minors to marry. It might be best to wait.
